THE JOURNEY TO OUR ROOMS IN THE FOUR SEASONS MALDIVES LANDAA GIRAAVARU

After hopping off the boat onto the sheltered wooden dock, we were officially on the Four Seasons Maldives Landaa Giraavaru, home for the next 6 days! A short walk from the dock over sand brings us to the front desk, with the necessary procedures completed, including pointing out our luggage from the rest of the family's and getting our room keys (which had little metal turtles tied to them), we were led to a line of white buggies. Eagerly jumping on one of the buggies, Karen and I grin to each other and the friendly buggy driver.

The buggy takes us down the sandy paths of Four Seasons Maldives Landaa Giraavaru and the buggy driver chats with us the whole way, pointing out the spa as we pass. We were soon approaching a wooden platform that was elevated above the sea. Pointing over his shoulder, our buggy driver points out Blu and recommends we try breakfast there during our stay. All the rooms in the Four Seasons Maldives Landaa Giraavaru are little villas with thatched roofs, the ones my aunt had booked for us however, were elevated above the sea. Awesome!

Driving down the elevated wooden platform to our villa, the buggy driver tells us to look out for fish in the waters below. We saw patches of colour darting through the water as our buggy continued down the walkway. In a few short minutes from the front desk, we were getting off the buggy and being shown our villa.
