Clash of Clans Guide - How To Pick The Right Target For Raids

HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT TARGET FOR RAIDS, CLASH OF CLANS

Picking the right target takes some time, but saves you troops and time if you do it right. At the end of this guide you'll be picking your own targets with ease!

How to pick the right target

• 40k gold and up (yes gold, cuz elixir doesn't do as much)
• Not more than 1 wall between where your raiders spawn and the gold storage/mine
• Make sure loot is not scattered all over the camp in storages and mines
• If gold storage is not easily accessible by goblins because of other resources then its not a good target

40k gold is the least I would go for when I raid. I've realised that raiding for smaller amounts means that you'll end up wasting more goblins.

More than 1 wall between where your raiders spawn and where the gold storage/mine is means you'll need more wall breakers. To get through 2 layers of walls you'll probably need about 14 wallbreakers. I normally avoid these targets unless they hold 100k gold and up.

Make sure loot is not scattered all over the camp. If some of the gold is in the storage and some in the mine, it means you'll expend more goblins getting the gold. This one is a bit trickier and needs a bit of experience to see if it's a worthwhile raid.

Gold storage must be easily accessible by your goblins. Goblins always go for the nearest resource building, if you're raiding for gold(which you should be!), elixir pumps and gold mines will distract your goblins, giving your prey's mortars more time to kill your goblins.
